Your Health Companion (“we”, “our”, “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address, and other contact details provided by you.

Health-Related Information: Information you voluntarily provide within the app such as symptoms, reminders, or health preferences.

Device & Usage Information: App usage data, device type, IP address, and log information.

  • Send important service-related notifications and reminders
  • Deliver SMS notifications only after you have provided explicit consent
  • Respond to support requests, maintain security, and prevent misuse

3. SMS Messaging & User Consent

We send SMS messages only to users who have explicitly opted in through our mobile application.

Opt-In Method:

  • Users enter their phone number inside the app
  • Users are shown a clear consent statement such as:
    “I agree to receive SMS notifications from Your Health Companion.”
  • Users enable a toggle or tap a confirmation button to opt in

No marketing or promotional SMS messages are sent without consent.

Opt-Out:

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.

Help:

Users can reply HELP to receive support information.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

8. Account Deletion Policy

Account Deletion

Users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data by emailing support@yourhealthcompanion.com from their registered email address.

Once the request is verified, the account and all associated personal and health-related data will be permanently deleted within 7–14 business days, unless data retention is required by law.

Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website.
